So thrilled that Victor has opened his new restaurant in Arroyo Grande. We missed his amazing food and are happy to report that his menu is fantastic. We started with the steak bites and french fries for the appetizer. The steak bites were juicy and well seasoned. The fries were crispy and flavorful. I added a side of his famous chimichurri for dipping my fries and I was not disappointed. We moved on to the sirloin steak with mac and cheese for one entree. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese was given a double thumbs up from a picky teenager. The bacon crumble on top was genius. The pork ribs were tender and the buttery rice pilaf was amazing. I was able to fit in a few bites of beans and bread (don’t miss out!). The beans were some of the best I’ve had on the central coast, if not the best. Sadly, we were so full we couldn’t have dessert, but watched jealously as our neighbors devoured the chocolate mousse cake and raspberry cheesecake. I highly recommend it!!! Five stars!!! We will be back soon.

Had the country fried steak and eggs... real hand-breaded ribeye, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with homemade gravy that was perfect. The one waitress running the show was awesome, friendly, fast, and on top of everything. Great food, great vibe absolutely worth the stop! I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

We had such a great experience at Vix Creek! Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The tri-tip sandwich was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the western burger was hearty and cooked just right. The onion rings were crispy and golden—definitely some of the best we’ve had. We also tried the grilled artichoke, which was a standout and added a nice fresh touch to our meal. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy good food. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Vic to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal!

The experience was great. We could tell the restaurant is just getting started and working out some soft opening kinks. That being said... the food was delicious and the portions were big. One small critique we had was that the entrees were hot while the sides were warm to cool. Flavors were spot on and we look forward to coming back as the service was amazing. Thank you Vix Creek for the positive experience and best wishes going forward.

Went for the first time and will definitely be back! I had the cheeseburger and I can’t believe how thick and DELICIOUS it was. I honestly can tell you it was the BEST cheeseburger I’ve ever had! My husband had the chicken sandwich and he said it was excellent! Atmosphere is fantastic! Loved it inside and the chef (also owner) came and asked how our lunch was. So personable!

Stopped by Vix Creek Saloon tonight and had a great time. The place has a super chill vibe—felt really welcoming right off the bat. Staff was friendly, and the whole atmosphere just felt like a good time. I ordered the steak, ribs, and shrimp combo and it was fantastic! Steak came out perfectly medium rare, just the way I like it. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Whether you’re grabbing a beer with friends or just want a solid meal, Vix Creek is the move.

Great family steak house where everyone has options to satisfy their taste buds. We took my Dad and 2 Daughters, enjoyed some live music they had that night. The atmosphere is pleasent, they've updated the decore since it was McClintock's just the right amount where it feels fresh and their own, but also maintained the similar ranch steak house vibe. The entire Crew were very nice, helpful and super on it. We're so glad Vix opened up and can't wait to return soon!
